Class will cover selection and preparation of veneers and substrates, tools, adhesives and proper use of vacuum bag. Class will be presented by Greg Larson, Director of the New England School of Woodworking (NESAW) in Easthampton, MA. Class is free, but pre-registration is required as the class size is limited.

PRODUCT SPECIFICATIONS

No minimum purchase.  All lumber is graded by NHLA inspection rules for each species. For more information on the NHLA, visit natlhardwood.org.  Discounts given for 100 bdft and 200 bdft of any single thickness of a species.  All lumber is sold random length and width, and is racked rough.  All lumber is sold by the board foot and measured on a net board footage basis.  Board footage is calculated for each board by multiplying the thickness by the width in inches by the length in feet, and dividing the result by 12.  Lumber is kiln-dried to approximately 8% moisture content.  Standard milling is included in board foot price: dressed 2 sides and ripped one edge. Quotes can be provided for additional milling services.  Milled or cut lumber or plywood is not returnable. Quotes can be provided for other species, thickness and grades.  Quotes can be provided for special sorts, such as width and length.  Gift certificates available.
