Quartersawn White Oak flooring is specially manufactured to keep the grain parallel with the length of the planks. It is a necessary choice for rooms that will have radiant heat installed in them. Like typical White Oak flooring, it is most often various shades of light brown, only thought of as "White" in comparison to Red Oak. Like all Oaks, White Oak is dense and hard, allowing it to endure heavy wear.
