Wormy Soft Maple is a special characteristic of some Soft Maple trees. Along with the typical mixture of chocolate-brown heartwood and white sapwood found in Natural Soft Maple floors, Wormy Soft Maple flooring adds a unique and casual look with its flame patterning near each worm hole. Though its name suggests otherwise, Soft Maple is actually quite hard and stands up to wear admirably.
